No. Our students range from complete beginners who’ve never held clippers to people with some barbering or hairdressing training who want to sharpen their skills.
Yes. A full professional barbering kit is included in the 10-week course fee, so you train with your own tools from day one.
It’s one day a week, 9:30am to 4:30pm. Choose the Monday, Thursday or Saturday group when you book. Each group has just 6 places.
Yes. Members of the public come in for free haircuts and beard trims, so you practise on real clients with Vin overseeing the work.
A VTCT Level 2 Cutting Unit Certificate plus a Leicester Barbering Academy certificate. The cutting unit is one unit from the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Barbering, not the full NVQ. See the course details.

With at least one month’s notice before your start date, we refund your fee minus a 25% cancellation fee. With less notice, you can move to a later course, subject to availability.
